IMPORTANT POINTS

All rentals are subject to location, eligibility and availability.

 

Hirer / Driver basic eligibility criteria is as follows:

  • You must be aged between 25-65*

  • Have held a full UK DVLA driving licence for at least 3* years

  • Possess an appropriate Taxi / Private Hire Licence*

  • Have minimum 2* years UK residence

  • Have no more than 6* penalty points in the last 3* years for minor convictions

  • Have no major convictions in the last 5* years

  • Have no disqualification from driving in the last 5* years

  • We may also sign you up at your home address before we deliver the vehicle as part of ID verification.

*These criteria may differ from location to location. We will also perform an appropriate licence check with the DVLA, your local licensing authority and anti-fraud agencies. We and / or our insurance underwriters reserve the right to refuse service at any time without giving reason or notice. Further T&C’s apply.

  • What do you do?
    We provide quality licensed private hire taxi rental vehicles, along with a whole range of driver support services. Fully managed Rental Service available in Mersyside with easy access, super flexible & everything Included
  • What is the minimum rental period?
    Our minimum rental period is 8 weeks and continues on a rolling week-to-week contract. We require only 1 weeks’ notice when you wish to return the car.
  • What do I need to join you?
    Provided you’ve passed our basic eligibility criteria, you’ll need: First Weeks Rent plus Deposit from £200 (for Rentals) £500 Down Payment for Rent to Buy Taxi / Private Hire Licence Certificate and Badge DVLA Photocard Licence National Insurance Number Recent Utility Bill or Bank Statement (must match DVLA address) A good level of English
  • Are there any mileage restrictions?
    The weekly allowance is 850 miles with a £0.20p per mile over limit charge.
  • Is Insurance included?
    Fully Comprehensive ‘Hire and Reward’ cover is included as standard.
  • What is the Insurance Policy Excess?
    If we’ve provided cover, usually £500 depending on the vehicle and your circumstances but this will be clearly stated on your rental agreement.
  • Where do I collect & return the car?
    Instead of having to collect your rental from us, we’ll deliver the car to you and drop you home upon it’s return! How’s that for service?!
  • What is the minimum age to drive?
    You have to be at least 25 years old.
  • What happens when a Service is due?
    When your car requires a service, just visit the SERVICING section of this website, fill in your details and a service advisor will be in touch within 48 hours to confirm your booking. It’s as simple as that!
  • What happens in the event of an accident or breakdown?
    If we’ve provided cover, an assistance pack containing such information is located in the car glovebox. This information is also available in our DRIVER SUPPORT section.
  • I want to work with a private hire company; who handles the paperwork?
    We can either supply you with copies of the relevant vehicle documentation (licence, insurance, MOT, etc) or the company you intend to work with on your behalf so you can get to work in the soonest of time.
